Re: Blender for Alpha (fwd)

Well you don't have the fastest Alpha in the world either ;) . The
machine you have has perforamnce equal to a little more than a P 200
MMX so the performance you're describing is hmmm odd. Then again is
blender 64 bit clean? When you release this baby I'll throw it on my
533LX with 128 megs and a 8 meg GL card and so how well it performs.
This same machine under NT could take a fully rendered exploded assembly
with CADKEY ( and under FX) and be able to rotate it at over 60 fps.
When exported to VRML I could move it at over 100 fps! Try including
those new math libs and building mesa with egcs 1.1.1 and the latest
binutils from rawhide to try and increase in performance.
