Re: Problems with starting Xwindows (Trio64DX2, AWARD motherboard, PentiumII

From the first sender: H. Broers

It still doesn't work
After looking in the mail list the answer should be:
Get the LINUX kernel version 2.1.199
It seems to be the BS bug.

Ok, for this newbie: Where can I find an easy to install kernel
for the problem for the annoying blank screen?

Another probably not common answer is to get a second hand motherboard
rather than this new one (But drivers plenty for Microsoft)

Best regards,
Heine
