This is only what I've been told, so take it with the proper grain
of salt.
Apparently, GM has done tests with *unconverted* engines
using pure ethonal. You may need a new carborator/fuel injection
more often, but it'll work fine.
For the uninformed, ethonal is corn alcohol. Most of the corn in
America is burned to keep the price artificaly high. Even so, it is
cheep compared to oil and far more renewable. Very clean, as well.
