MS-Win : IME support for CJK

use with **any language** version of MS IE and MS OE under **any
language** version of MS-Windows 95/NT. Along with this release, they
put up info. on APIs related to IME on their web site. I suspect MS IE
team had been informed of this APIs well before the rest of the world
including Netscape were informed of this. (implication: Justice
department has another reason to investigate unfair business practice of
M$, exploiting its unique position of being both dominant OS
manufacturer and one of leading players in application software market
for that OS). Otherwise, how could MS IE and MS OE released at least
several months before Korean and Japanese IMEs work with them without
any patches? I expect next version of MS-Word and other programs in MS
Office suite will be able to use East Asian IMEs again well before Word
Perfect and other competitors unless Corel and others can do a really
good job in catching up with MS office team who is very likely to have
begun working on this months ahead of them.

Anyway, now that APIs for IME has been out for a while, those with
expertise on I18N/L10N under MS-Windows need to come out and make
mozilla work with those IME just like MS IE works with them. That way,
MS-Windows version of Mozilla users don't have to rely on programs like
Unionway(www.unionway.com) and Twinbridge(www.twinbridge.com) to enter
CJK under non-East Asian version of MS-Windows 95/NT. If this is not
done quickly, sizable number of people would turn away from Mozilla
because of lack of CJK support.
