I never did get a response from Netscape a few yrs ago when I asked them about
this ... they just ignored it ...

They lost considerable sales from not implementing this simple little feature
...

It's simple little workflow enhancements that make life easier for people.  For
example, why should I have to keep hitting that "GET MAIL" button ... it's
forcing me to think about getting the mail ... I don't want to have to keep
checking so I don't miss something ... neither do my users .. for those of us
that use email in our daily work, we shouldn't have to do something we know a
computer can do plain and simple.
