ERROR 2013: Lost connection to MySQL server during query

Dear all

I have a problem when I specified my host in order to connect to my
mysql server : 
mysql -h p204
ERROR 2013: Lost connection to MySQL server during query

I have just installed the server and set a pass for the root user.
