At last week's Southwest Regionals, we got to see a CHARYBDIS fly - that's the strange, flat, asymmetric, extremely weird sounding, 1/2A powered FF helicopter. Actually, we saw two of them, launched simultaneously! The device has also been called the McCutcheon machine, in honor of the designer.
Anyhow, one got lost and was later turned in to the AMA officials table. Jean Andrews flew and recovered his; contact me if you know who the other one belongs to.
