The little OS .26 looks nice.  If I understand the SAM rules correctly a 
4-cycle up to .30 would be acceptable in the Pacer.

My Bob Holman goodies, the Pacer and a Record Hound, where on the 
doorstep when I got home today.  Hooray! Given that I'm a little rusty 
at building, the Pacer definitely looks like the better choice of the 
two.  I have to admit that I have a taste for the more unusual looking 
designs or anything with a gullwing.

That event sounds like a real hoot.  I don't remember seeing anything 
about it on the SAM site.  I'm not much on Vegas but I usually take a 
vacation in the Fall and Vegas +model airplanes could work.  Are Las 
Vegas showgirls attracted to chubby men with model airplanes?  Here's 
hoping.

Past efforts:  Here's a couple of pictures of an Air Trails Sportser and 
a Buzzard Bombshell I built back in the '80s.  The Sportser had an OS 
.10 in it and the Bombshell had an O.S. .40 4-cycle.
